Poor Graham has been having these TERRIBLE nasty coughing spells and last night while I was in the bedroom blogging, Chad and Graham were in the living room. Chad was finishing up eating his dinner and Graham was lying on the floor playing. Graham started coughing really bad and then I hear Chad screaming. I don't think ever in my life I have ran so fast. By the time I got there, Chad had Graham laying on his arm, belly down, and was patting him on the back and Graham started projectile vomiting. Oh it was so terrible. I have never been so scared in my life. Graham was coughing so hard and was choking on all of the phlegm that was coming up out of his chest. Chad and I were shaking so hard and we were on the floor holding him and crying. But as soon as Graham threw up, he looked at us like, "Hey Mommy and Daddy! What's up? Why's everyone so upset??" It was actually kinda funny.
Laying in bed last night I couldn't stop thinking about what if? What if something would have happened to him? What if we would have lost him? I honestly don't think I could go on living. My life would be over. I have never loved so fully and so wholeheartedly ever in my life. He is my everything. My life. My true love. My heart and soul. I feel so terrible for any parent that has lost their child. No parent should ever have to go through that. I'm now to the point to where I hope he lives with us til we are no longer on this earth. I am going to shelter this little boy and not let him out of my sight if I don't have to. That's that. I am going to be a crazy possessive mother and no girl will ever be good enough for him. I am ever more neurotic than I have ever been. Done. :)
Graham has been doing better today. A little. Chad stayed home with him all day so Graham could get in a full day of breathing treatments. Our poor baby HATES it. He cries and fights it and I feel terrible because it sounds like he is suffocating. :( I wish I could take all of this sickness away and give it to myself. It just kills me to know that he is sick.
Please keep praying for our lil baby and that he will recover from all of this soon.

4 Month Stats
I took Graham to the doctor today as a sick visit because he's been coughing really terribly bad again and he's been losing his appetite as well (if you know my child, you know that he NEVER refuses to eat and he ALWAYS finishes his bottles and ready for more) so we knew something had to be wrong. Chad took the day off so we saw Dr. at 9:30am. She noticed that when she listened to his chest, he was wheezing quite a bit and that he was really having to work to breathe. So she ordered another RSV test (just click on "test" to take you to a previous post about his first test...I'm in the process of learning the tricks to blogging!)
and thankfully that test turned out to be negative but she did determine that his respiratory infection is back and with the wheezing, she prescribed an inhaler to use for breathing treatments.
We were supposed to see her again next week for his 4 month vaccinations but thankfully she let us do all of that in this visit. So here are his stats at 4 months:
Weight - 17lbs and in the 90th percentile
Height - 26 1/8 inches and also in the 90th percentile
To be clear on the 90th percentile, if he was measured up to 100 babies his age, he would be bigger than 90 of them. So she said that was GREAT and probably a lot of that contributed to me breastfeeding him (which I am in the process of weaning and I'm not sure I am happy about it).
I can certainly see the benefits of breastfeeding him and I love knowing that he is getting all of the nutrients he needs but with work, it's getting harder and harder to pump 3 times while I am there. I don't want to stop though. It makes me sad because I feel like I am taking away something from him that has been benefiting him so greatly. So I don't really know what to do. I have already been pumping less and have noticed that I am not producing a lot of milk like I used to produce. Again, this makes me very sad but I just need to get over it. I've breastfed him during the most crucial time and he is thriving very well so I just need to give myself a good smack and get over it. ha! I'm really stressed out about this and I told Chad today that I really should go talk to a therapist. ha!
Dr. also said that we could start giving him rice cereal from a spoon so we will begin working on solids in the next week or so.
By the way, our Christmas Tree isn't dead after all.
All I had to do was change the fuses and waaaaa laaaaa...we will have Christmas next year, people! :)
Future Bodybuilder???
Chad put Vicks Baby Rub on Graham's chest and we couldn't stop laughing because he kept looking like he was flexing his muscles!

date night with the kelly's and babies
last night we went to texas roadhouse with our friends, amy and david kelly and their daughter caroline. the babies were so sweet on each other. caroline kept touching all over graham. it was so stinkin cute! at one point, she even took graham's paci out of his mouth and tried to put it in hers. i would have LOVED a video of that! I think that those two lil ones are going to have so much fun growing up together and playing! We are going to go over to their house Tuesday to watch the National Championship Game and let the babies have fun in caroline's new playroom! amy and i just became good friends over the summer but feel like we have known each other forever. we have so much in common and never run out of things to talk about. same with our husbands! we had so much fun experiencing each other's pregnancy and i am so glad to have friends like them in our lives! we have had so much fun so far and i know there is so much more to come. we even believe we will be future in-laws one day.
bath time.
graham had his first "big boy" bath on new years day. he and daddy had so much fun splashing in the bubbles!
A Day With The Pounds' Family

Morgan and I have been friends since we were 12 years old and she is just absolutely WONDERFUL! I love her with all of my heart and soul! She is the one that can always make me laugh with all of her silly ways! She is a hoot! Morgan and her husband Wes and son Davis live in Texarkana and she works as an RN on the weekends so when I come home to Texarkana we never are able to get together because of her weekend schedule. Her and Wes were off all week so they decided to come to Little Rock on Tuesday and spend the day with Graham and me. Chad had to work and couldn't get off. So, we ate lunch at the Purple Cow and then walked around the mall. We had so much fun! I don't think I ever stopped laughing! Davis is 2 years old and such a sweetie! FULL OF ENERGY TOO!! I had quite the insight on how Graham will be at his age! I know Graham will be boucing off of the walls and IMPOSSIBLE to keep still! He is already a wiggle worm!
