State Fair 2010

if there is someone who LOVES the state fair, you can look at chad and me. we get sooooo excited when we see the billboards on the interstate advertising! as soon as we see that beautiful blue ribbon, we start saving our money! so thursday we took graham and he LOVED it just as much as we did. his favorite was definitely the petting zoo. mine and chad's favorite part is the FAIR FOOD!! we stuffed ourselves stupid!!

We ate: fried cheese on a stick, fried pickles, deep fried snickers, fresh pork skins, pizza slice, turkey legs, fried veggies (cauliflower, broccoli, mushrooms, sweet potatoes, onions, zuccini), fried jalapeno cheese, cotton candy, caramel apple.

hmmm, i think that's it. ha! usually we just get the turkey legs, funnel cake and cotton candy but this year we decided we wanted to try more. and boy did we. and LHM, did we have belly aches when we got home. but it was so much fun and we can't wait to do it again next year!

i know a handsome lil guy that is 2 years old!!

our lil guy turned 2 years old on sept. 5. to celebrate, chad and i took him to the zoo. he loves the zoo, loves all animals and LOVED talking to all of them.

we had his birthday party on sept. 19 at the wonder place. he had so much fun with all of his friends. we are so blessed to have such wonderful people in our lives.

howdy doody!!

i cannot BELIEVE it's been over two months since my last post. did you forget about us??? i have no excuse except to say i've been just plumb lazy and...well...that's it. just lazy.

graham is doing so well and is getting sooo big!! it's so hard for me to believe that he will be two years old in less than a month. the time has just flown by so quick. he is so much fun and amazes me everyday. He is so smart and we are so proud.

graham carries on conversations with us and pretty much says everything that we say.

he counts to 10 and says his ABC's and even says ADIOS! oh, i just love it!

he knows how to put his shoes on the correct foot.

we are still working on potty training. he does excellent using the potty at school but not so much at home.

he loves to brush his teeth and got an excellent report at the dentist yesterday.

he is now sleeping in a full size "big boy" bed. the beginning was pretty rocky and we had to lock his door to keep him in his room. i know i know, call the authority on us now. but geez, it was our last resort but it worked so well. we did that for a week and now when we say it's bed time, he walks to his room and stands at his changing table to get his night diaper on. and used to when we would put him to bed, we would have to run out of this room really quick but now we just lay him in bed and he snuggles up to his "bee bee" (blanket), puppy and cow and he is good to go.
